The actual best time for the Caparo T1 is 1:10.8.
Here's the story...
EVO magazine does times with driver and passenger at Bedford. The guy driving the Caparo (with a passenger, racer Phil Bennett) ran a 1:14.8 but he didn't feel comfortable with the car. After a few suggestions from Bennett, the car ran much faster but Bennett didn't want to ride along at those speeds.
According to the driver (John Barker), even if they had done the run with a passenger, the T1 would have "obliterated" the lap record.
So because all of the other Bedford times (from EVO) are with a passenger, the T1's time without a passenger isn't allowed (I strongly disagree).
If you add a passenger to the 1:10.8, I'm 1000% positive that it would beat the SR8LM's 1:13.6.
