We have so many japanese cars here with special japan spec versions... why not one for a non japanese... the Golf R and Scirocco R is clearly less powerfull than the standart Golf Scirocco R sold in Europe... it is not close to TT-S power it much closer to old R32 power... I would vote to add a new datasheet to make the different clealry visible.. no one would realize waht (Jap) behind the laptime means

I think a fair solution would be to add a note "(Jap)" or similar to those two laptimes, what do you think, Georg?

we need to delet the laptime here and add a Golf R japan spec... that different are to big..
I wouldn't go that far. What we have here is the fastest version - Euro spec. And what we keep here are fastest lap times. If they (BM) get a hold of Euro spec Golf or Scirocco or VW decides to raise boost on Japanese models, we would end up removing not just these laptimes but Jap spec carpages altogether.
Also, one variable in engine computer is not worth adding a new page. Multiple pages per one (or may it be similar) car degrade the user friendliness of this site.
This is a situation where we might end up having a poll for or against seperating Jap version.

no they realy rate the Golf R in japan with 256PS/188kW ...thats even lower than 256hp)

there must be a different between the europen and japanese Golf R...
11kW and 20Nm lower power... we need to delet the laptime here and add a Golf R japan spec... that different are to big..

or they have lower octane fuel?
But where did that 256 figure come from? Do you really think they dyno-tested those cars after they got them? That would be nonsense because dyno tests show results allover the place and manufacturers normally display power at the flywheel.

BM quotes 256 ps for Golf and Scirocco R versions. I guess those were slightly de-tuned Japanese versions. Otherwise I have no idea.
