As much as I love Volvo, they need to tell Geely to piss off so they can enjoy their freedom once again. Put an ACTUAL twin engine into a "T9" version of the S60, S90, XC40, XC60, and XC90 ... make it a combination 4.0L semi-V8 :)))

S60 T8 Polestar Engineered competition

Yes, officially it is 405 hp, however I own the new S60 T8 and had the Polestar optimisation updated on my car recently and my Volvo mechanic (who did the optimisation) explained to me that the unofficial peak power is momentarily (ca. 4 seconds) 415 hp/690 nm over the official stated 405 hp/670 nm. The reason behind this is because the hybrid drivetrain has a 3% extra power reserve build into it which is provided through the EV motor and optimised gear shifting (for the engine) in Polestar driving mode.

The sport version of the new S60.
It's a hybrid. The petrol engine has 328 PS @5800 and 430 Nm @4500 while the electric engine has 87 PS and 240 Nm, the peak power of this system is 415 PS and 670 Nm.
Upside it has plenty of torque downside it's very heavy.
