I know someone who owns multiple of these cars including the Countach LP400 and the LP400S Serie 1&2.
The performance stats are wrong for this car as the LP400S Serie 1&2 retained the same engine as the earlier Periscopio (LP400), while the Serie 3 with the higher roof had reduced horsepower due to emission regulations-
I would guess the speeds listed under "Performance" reflect the engine output from the Serie 3, as I have witnessed this car (the Serie 1&2) do 0-100 in around 5 seconds, just a slight bit slower than the Periscopio due to the bodykit. It would also enjoy a top speed of 290 kph at the autobahn.

Not always acceleration data is fully representative of what is theoretically possible in perfect circumstances. There is sizable variance in real world testing.
Having said that, this page is supposed to represent data for LP400S with 359 metric horsepower. Whatever series that is - I don't know. I would have to defer to someone more knowledgeable.
It is possible that some of the tests were done for less powerful US version, however, that one has separate page - https://fastestlaps.com/models/lamborghini-countach-lp400s-us-version and data, such as that posted by 196ss below, is already added there.

I Would still buy another one. Had lots of fun in mine.
I had a series 2, or high roof. More room inside, wing option, telephone dial wheels, big arches, 375 tires. Maybee others were faster, but this was fast enough for me, in my late 20's.

Lol, only a fool would buy THIS model. LP500S is way better-it has 455 hp, and a top speed of 178MPH unfortunately still slower than the original... ;_;
