This car is starting to show its age.

I can't wait for the C7 Z06, but that won't be for a few more years most likely.

What were the conditions on the Ring? i herd they wernt perfect?

That 7:42.9, was also the Pre-Production ZO6 that did that time.

correct me if im wrong but for 2007 didn't chevy boost hp to 510, and wasn't it the '07 zo6 that went 0-60 in 3.4 secs

LOL we ALL know that dude, the Mustang was never ment to go up against it.

The mustang gt is NO match for the corvette zo6.

Depending on the tyres, and change that 0-100kmh, its obvious, since its 0-60mph time is 3.4, 0-100kmh should be 3.6 or so.

The excelleration numbers for the ZO6 as per Car and Driver and just about every publication are 0-60 in 3.4 seconds and 0-100 in 7.5-7.6 seconds. With a better set of tires the ZO6 would easily be 5 seconds a lap quicker.

Shouldnt the 0-100kmh be 3.7? since the 0-60mph time is 3.4, and you dont have a shift at until, you reach 62mph.

If this had the same tyres as the GT2, could it beat it?

How the hell is this only 2s slower around the ring than the LP640, it should be like 10s slower, yet it 2?

0-100kmh in 3.5 is stretching it a bit, 3.4s to 60mph has be achieved multiple times though. and this does really good on any track, considering the matierials, so i wouldnt say that.

I am sure this car can do a 3.5 0-100 with good reaction time and even though cornering is good,its just not made for the track, even if its tuned.

Who's going to give conservative accelaration data ? None. Obviously they refer to standard road and atmospheric conditions and correct measurement tools.

as your ZR1 referenz has profen... drag radials (not factory options) mounted on a wheel size not avaible from factory... come up with better sources and we change the times but not if there is no thechnical spec sheet or if you referenze claims modification not avaible as factory option..

I won't discuss this anymore. Belive what you want. I think this pro drag drivers extract more then the ordinary drivers, especialy magazines drivers. If you check corvette forum, or other sources, you'll find people beating the magazines claims easily, of course with fully stock car (including the tire).

forget that dragtimes claims... no one realy knows if the car was 100% stock or not..
