The SL55 may be a very, very good straight-line performer, but compared to on a road course it just doesn't compare. It barely matches the XLR-V. In fact, it lost to the XLR-V on the Vairano Handling Course by 1/10s.
Daimler owned Chrysler at the time, so anything with a 5.5 Kompressor badge was essentially a Hellcat product of its time. The XLR-V is basically the precursor to the Camaro ZL1 Convertible.
