3sec gap from 0-150 (20 v. 17), yet the 1/4-mile trap speeds are very different (118 v. 126). So the Z28 accelerates harder than the Hellcat BEFORE OR AFTER 150 mph.
0-150 of 20 seconds is usually expecting of 121-122mph in the 1/4-mile.

I plan on selling my GTI, and getting the new "Miata." I'll need to spend $$$ to get it the power it needs. Otherwise, a set of wider tires...and I have a fast "Go Cart." As for my SRT....need to see how many doctor/lawyers buy a Hellcat...and get scared. Perhaps I can trade up.

Where did you hear the Camaro was being discontinued in 2015? That's when the 6th Gen, riding on the Alpha platform(Cadillac ATS, CTS, etc), is scheduled to debut.

Plus, the car has been selling like hotcakes ever since it came out, handily beating the Mustang in sales year after year. To kill it off would be a very dumb move on GM's part.

Guess it depends on the individiual, Stiff suspension does bother me at all, Im pretty tolerable, And use to going a fair distance with essentials, My SkyLine and RX7 arent what you would call luxury comfort cars, Specially know, But i make due, Cant speak for everyone, Id love to have a Z/28(Still Ugly) And take it cross country, That would make it more special, Im lucky enuff to have a wife the same way. And im sure there are plenty of people who ONLY use a Z/28 for everything, Again, Its what you chose t make of it.
And nobody is gonna ban you for posting that lol
Humans are always gonna be this way, Its not gonna change, The death rate is just gonna get higher and higher to eventually you all kill yourselves, Every country is more about how they can dominate another then the protection and advancement of the human race, Most of the time i think Humans are rather deplorable, But there are few instances which can be considered loving, But your not gonna change, Shites just getting worse for this planet, Pretty soon you may have to vacate and find another home, Not like your taking care of this one.
since we are all human beings and live on the same planet
Dont lump me in here with the rest of you Humans.

Okay this is a bit off topic and all but I thought I should share it since we are all human beings and live on the same planet. Surely we are all affected by things like these in some way or form. Please don't ban me or anything I never ever spam. This is a petition started by someone and it is for a good cause and since humanity seems to be in a dump ATM it is a pleasant sight to see someone trying to make a positive difference. This is a petition against the murder and torture of innocent human beings, infants and elders alike. I was hoping maybe some people could sign it. https://secure.avaaz.org/en/israel_palestine_this_is_how_it_ends_loc/?bjKXAdb&v=42612
Again please don't ban me I love this website. Thanks.

Why would anyone drive a car that rides as stiff as a go kart for evrryday use when you could buy another cheaper car for everyday and have a z28 for special occasions. Im sure that is what people do. It just cant be an only car. Unless you like to challengr yourself everyday.

If you use to cars that are mainly for comfort, Or for very long driving expieriences like a courier service or something, Or if you have a sensative, Or bad back, Or other body parts, I could see some discrepancy in not using a car thats ment to tear up a track on a nice journey, And yes, I have used a Cetarham as an everyday driver, An Atom too, No probs going to the shops, Or to get eats, I have driven to Ipswich to Inverness In my SkyLine and Atom(Which wasnt mine) WIth no probs...ALbeit that day in the rain... But i would definetly take a HellCat on practically everything over a Z/28, Long journey included.
Now the Z isnt quite as ugly as i make it out too be, But too ugly, But you can have great track performance and good looks, Just look at the ZO6 or 918 or R8 GT, HC just looks soooo much better then the 28

Hah pretty much every track special has those things, maybe minus the boot, but this is a big car so it should have a boot. What i meant was that as far as comfort on the road and driveability in varying weather and bad road surface and long distance travel etc goes it is less than ideal. But i suppose someone like you could make due with a caterham as an everyday car. I would pick the Hellcat too, but i dont think the z28 is ugly. It is near the top of my list for track cars. Right after a 911 gt3 and 458 speciale and maybe a few other exotics :p

Hard to use as an everyday car?....4 seats, Radio, AC, boot, 20Mpg, Not sure thats what i would call hard to use everyday...Comfort and ability is all in what you make of it, To each there own, But still. And yes they dont compete with each other, Nothing is common other then a V8.
Id take the HellCat no competition, The Z/28 is just too ugly...And fully loaded its $87,435.....Camaro..-_-
