The Gallardo gets compared to the 360 only because it's too heavy (and therefore "slow") to compete with the "official" competitor, the F430.
Even with the E-Gear transmission, it ended up running 13-second quarter-mile times at less than 110 mph in Motor Trend and MotorWeek's testings. About the same results as an SVT Terminator, a Corvette LS1, or a Firebird WS6 Trans Am!!
