Everytime I come to compare these two i see a different result. The result at todays date seems reasonable with the Ford beating the S3 in most tracks

And why isn't the nurburgring times put down.
Focus RS 8:26 --- 146.56 km/h
Audi S3 8:41 --- 142.34 km/h

Also a couple more lol, couldnt resist

@shark the Focus RS has a pretty worse powerband... autocar in the UK has compared the Scirocco R vs the Focus RS and the Scirocco played the RS to the wall... simple fact the 2.0l TFSI engine is a much better powerplant
delivering slightly less peak power but delivering much more torque at lower reavs to hihger revs...

S3 is still the best hatchback. And there are a lot of posibilities of tuning to make out the difference of power.

.....this result is surprising

I was almost certain that the RS would beat the S3

On paper the only advantage the S3 has is that 4wd.
The RS has the power and Torque , better power band.
Also the Focus RevoKnuckle shouldve made up for its lack of 4wd.

I know the S3 is a awsome car and is very fast almost com[arable to an STi or Evo but i never thought it would beat the Ford
