@ Viking : Yeah! Im still have it. It's my father car actually. I used it to play around Akina mount but i can't drift using this car. My father add a new differential but it make the car more stabilize rather keep the drift going. I recommend the RE050A with 140 or 220 treadwear for Bridgestone and SS with 220 or 300 treadwear for Michelin. Well how's that sound?

@Super8 do you still have the Mercedes 190E Evo II? If so, that is a cool car. Very race ready. Which specific model Michelin Pilot and/or Bridgestone Potenzas do you recommend? So far the Pirelli PZero summer tires seem very grippy, and long lasting (quite important since summer performance tires in 255/40 19 size are expensive).

Actually Vaughn Gitten who started the Ready To Rock RTR edition to commemorate his drifting competition championship is from Maryland where I used to work. The dealership in Maryland where I purchased my Mustang GT was the first to offer the RTR dealership option package as far as I know. The Apple Ford dealership thought that the 9 bhp/8 lb-ft advantage wasn't going to change the acceleration much if at all. Any advantage the Mustang GT 5.0 has in acceleration is entirely because of testing procedure and conditions. As for any advantage that the RTR might have over the Mustang GT 5.0 with Brembo package on a track it would depend entirely on whether one half inch wider rear wheels and the Falken summer tires are better than the standard Pirelli PZero tires from the Brembo Package. Personally I think the Pirelli PZero tires are better than the Falken tires. I don't know for sure since I haven't tried the Falkens.

Still pondering whether the RTR needs its own page. It is a Mustang GT 5.0 variant with different tires, wheels, and a body kit with decals. The K&N in box air filter and louder mufflers give 9 bhp and 8 lb/ft of torque. Merging the two pages would give the Mustang GT 5.0 a Hockenheim Short lap time. Not my call though. Maybe Sport Auto will test a standard Mustang GT 5.0 at Hockenheim. I like the standard PZero summer tires that come with the Brembo package and doubt that they have less grip than the RTR dealer package Falken summer tires. The RTR body kit and spoiler package do look really good however. My car has accessory package #5, rear window louvers (sport slats), and is Sterling Grey Metallic so it looks pretty striking as well.

It is too bad there are no lap times to compare. The RTR has different tires, wheels, and suspension tuning. This would of course affect track times. Weight and gearing are essentially identical. The K&N in box air filter, and louder mufflers give the RTR an inconsequential increase of 9 bhp (10 ps) and 8 lb/ft torque. Not enough to substantially effect acceleration.

I find this comparison interesting since these are slightly different variants of the same car, but tested by three different magazines. The 4.6 second 0-100 kph I think comes from Car magazine, the 19.7 0-200 kph comes from an inept driver at Autobild Sportscars. The 5.4 and 17.6 second times were recorded by Christian Gebhardt of SportAuto magazine.
