2009 Renault Megane RS Mk III

How much are these? I don't think we can buy them in the USA without importing them special order.

I own a Cobalt SS Turbo that is a great car (#160 here) and you can pick one up for about $16K right now. For another $2K it easily kicks up to 350whp!

I also find it interesting that in the USA you can't buy a Ford Focus RS! FORD IS AN AMERICAN COMPANY!

This car is insanely good for its price. I have driven it a few times, didnt have the chance to buy one.. It is better than all other sporty cars in the same class and it is cheaper. The only bad thing I can say about this car it has FWD rather than AWD. I have raced it against a 335i and it just hummiliates the bmw

That video shows a BTG-time of the Nürburgring, not a full lap. Maybe the future R26R successor will get a time close to 8.06, let's hope so. Go Renault!

IT depends on driver doesnt matter what car it is... Focus rs is better and faster it was proven at pro days.. many laps are diferent.
I saw 2 ford focus rs and 2 megane rs diferent time about 2 seconds and exatly same car... so it depends on driver or remake of car... if its stock or not.

Oh, It did not beat Focus RS Ring time

Wow, I thought it would be at least as fast as the Focus RS. Must be the power difference.

Please ask Hans Joachim Stuck for drive the Renault Megane RS Mk III on the Nordschleife, then the car will be shure about 11 seconds faster.

good that we have the improved datasheet and I relook through my magazines...

sportscars tested the Megane RS in 22.0s 0-200km/h which is 2.2s !!!! better than the time we had listed so far

The laptimes are wrong for the Megane RS and the Focus RS @ Haute Saintonge. The real ones are 1:06:907 for the Megane and 1:06:259 for the Focus. Someone could change them ? 0-200 km/h is 22,0 s.
it was achieved in auto bild sportscars couple of months ago in comparison against Audi TTS and Volkswagen Scirocco R

I've compared this car's laptimes to the laptimes of focus rs, mazda3 mps ,seat cupra r, scirocco r and golf r and despite having less power this car came always out on top.

I have added the time...driver was Patrik Simon... he finished 13. place this years 24h at the northloop with the production Porsche 997 GT3 RS
