Do you remember the other day when I was talking about the BMW M5 E39. Seriously Love that car always will. But I think I'd rather with this! ;)

User avatar

BR2+  9y ago

Only problem with that, Is there isnt a shred of proof other then an image saying the time, And not even a test, Literally just an image with the RS4 saying just 7:58...

User avatar

Frank Stipler  9y ago

Who is messing with the lap times?
Ring time 8:09 ? Are you mad?
It's 7:58:06 to be exact.

User avatar

Change the lap time for Nurburgr  9y ago

That 8:09 Ring lap is bullshit.. 7:58 is the time and it's proven by the Frank Stipler !

User avatar

Put the right Ring time back !   9y ago

You must put the correct Ring time back..!!!
This is unacceptable!!! 7:58:00..!!!!!

ring time erased..?  9y ago

where is the 7:58:00 nurburgring laptime by Frank Stipler?

If you are willing to buy a house, you will have to get the loan. Moreover, my sister always utilizes a car loan, which occurs to be the most reliable.

User avatar

Darfo  13y ago

rdgdxj... You need to HAVE a cock to drive one. That counts you out.

User avatar

RS4  14y ago

This Vairano time is very bad as for RS4. It could 1:20 easly.

User avatar

enzostradale  14y ago

It is impossible to time in the ring when the E92 M3 is a car faster than the RS4, with a time of 08:05

User avatar

TheFrank  14y ago

Yeah I'm calling BS on that 7:58 'RING time.

The other 20 lap times are nowhere near as respectable!

I'm sorry but you'd have to be an idiot to believe a stock B7 RS4 can run 7:58 around the 'RING.

User avatar

rdgdxj  14y ago

you need to be a cock to have one

User avatar

Spydrow  15y ago

I think the laptime is very well possible, considering he used P Zero Corsa tires and is a Nordschleife expert!
The time from sportauto is 8:09 and they have no driver that can keep up with Frank on the Ring.
http://www.sportauto-online.de/supertest/audi-rs4-auf-nordschleife-und-hockenheimring-1143297.html

@Keelan
This RS4 doesn't have a biturbo (in fact it has no turbo), that was the 2.7l V6 predecessor :)

User avatar

NIN  15y ago

@ Rick james Jr...

As Georg mentioned, you have to look at who was driving that 7:58. It was driven by pro race driver Frank Stippler (former factory Audi DTM driver, Nürburgring Endurance race winner). His favorite track is the Nordschleife. He would easily be a few seconds faster than most.

User avatar

Rick James Jr.  15y ago

I do not believe that 7:58 RING time. Every other track time recorded doesn\'t even come close to eluding this thing is capable of breaking 8 minutes around the RING. The E92 BMW M3 is listed at 8:05 and I\'m sure the M3 is quicker than the Audi. The RS4 would be at 8:10 tops.

User avatar

Anonymous  15y ago

why didn't the rs4 have the fastest sedan record around the ring for some time it even beat the 2009 cts-v

User avatar

MXN  15y ago

Why it couldn't be faster than heavy CTS-V?

User avatar

Anonymous  16y ago

That Ring time should be removed, all evidence is onyl from that picture wuth the blue car, or am i wrong?

User avatar

Anonymous  16y ago

yes thats true, but is there anything else to gon on except that picture?

User avatar

Georg  16y ago

R8 northloop time driven by independet car journalist (who hates Audi loves BMW and is a Porsche junky) The RS4 time was driven by Frank Stippler ex DTM Audi race driver (4. place 24hours at the Ring in 2004 on a Abt-Audi-TT-R)...

That is the same different between Nissan GT-R factory laptime of 7:26min and sportauto laptime of 7:36min... it is all about the driver doing the lap

User avatar

Anonymous  16y ago

Is there actually any hard proof for that 7:58 Nurburgring time except that damn picture? because how the hell doe this beat the R8 Quattro at the Ring when it looses to it on every other track listed? i mean every track, excluding that wet one, even in the damp the R8 beat it at the Top Gear Track, and yet some how on the GreenHell the R8 looses? somthing is not right here.

User avatar

David Johnti  16y ago

This car is the sickest audi.

End of.

Apathy  16y ago

I looked for proof of this time elsewhere, but didn't get any links. Just time lists that had the same time. The thing you posted Wads is just a picture that someone put together on that forum. Does anyone have a link to the magazine article or a web article?

User avatar

Apathy  16y ago

"but hey just looka at the Top Gear Track time, its as fast as the more powerfull and lighter and more expensive Gallardo"

Yeah, but it's also two seconds slower than the R8 which was tested on a damp track...
I'm not saying it's impossible or false, it's just hard to swallow.

The RS4 is definitely a great car though.

User avatar

BumRush  16y ago

No need for the OverPowered RS6 when ya gots this..lol

User avatar

BumRush  16y ago

I can definetly believe that time, but its hard to believe it beats the 448lbs lighter R8 and 400bhp 6.0L Corvette C6, but hey just looka at the Top Gear Track time, its as fast as the more powerfull and lighter and more expensive Gallardo, but again ya have to account for alot of things. and this is one hell of a good looking car, it may be a bit expensive at $75,000, but its worth it, id get one, but im really not into sedans/saloons:)
