"hey anomynous ive actually been finding some pretty cool stuff lately, i found a go-kart (literally a go-kart) for 5k"

And I found one at a dealership for 11K here in America!

And the only American with sense enters......

You Europeans are right. Around here in New England, you can buy an previous gen. Civic for more than a new one! And don't get me talking about San Diego....

Fastestlaps is telling the truth. You can buy a pretty nice BMW 5 series (used of course but in pretty nice condition) in Germany for cheap, around the same price as a beat up Honda Civic with a parking bench spoiler here in the US.

Cars like this DO NOT depreciate like your 1970 GREMLIN FastestLaps. You cannot be driving anything else for $1000 that would go with that helmet.

If I was in America it would really be the case. So, it's unlucky situation for you, my dear. In Europe we can buy some pretty decent stuff for 1000 dollars. old and not in tip-top condition but still in working order. As for the helmet - it's bike helmet. I hope you didn't imagine me driving to the shops in my car with this helmet on.

hey anomynous ive actually been finding some pretty cool stuff lately, i found a go-kart (literally a go-kart) for 5k that will go 0-60 in 3.0 seconds and reach 120. it may not be a car but in terms of fun its up there with a lot of really fast bikes.

when you buy a pure purpose impractical performance car that costs 75k it is not gonna hold value. and i agree my friend dumped around 8k (i think, maybe less) into a camaro (im pretty sure it was 1978 model) and had it pushing 680 bhp in a thinned out racing body. these things don't last too long though, on a rainy day his brakes locked up, it hit another car and the body fell apart like paper, even cutting through the engine block.

Why waste money? This cost me just under $3K plus the motor. It is lighter and probably a little faster. Here are some old shots when the car was not done, but you get the idea...

dont put me in here with all you poor bums lol

So you think you're a rich person when you buy a ridiculously expensive car and then watch it depreciate?

hey, not everbody has use for an everyday car! and there is SOME level ao praticality, but imgine what this does on a track!!

User avatar

FastestLaps  17y ago

Let's face it, it's stupid to spend 75 grand for a car. My car cost me less than 1000 dollars and I have no complaints!

User avatar

PhantomPorsche  17y ago

For 75 grand you can get a nice GT-R with four seats, leather, trunk and no soul, thats a bargain!

User avatar

FastestLaps  17y ago

Oh common! 75k for something that has absolutely no practical usability REALLY IS for the wealthy end of population.

User avatar

PhantomPorsche  17y ago

Really! I thought it was like 500,000 dollars. My fault lol.

Richer population?? this babys on $75,000!! i wouldnt say thats for the Richer population, but i get what your saying.

User avatar

PhantomPorsche  17y ago

It sure is! Definatly this is a toy for the richer part of the population
