I'm sorry but that Tsukuba time is not possible. I run on Tsukuba all the time in an Evo. The best an 8RS would do on road tyres would be around 1:06 with a pro driver.

EVO 8 RS YOU WOULDNT KNOW ABOUT ONE UNTILL YOU\'VE OWNED ONE. ITS A ROCKET AND I PERSONALLY THINK ONE OF THE FASTEST CARS ON THE ROADS!

Inline 6 rules  15y ago

Where are the power and torque datas come from? They are totally bullshit! Every JDM Evo is rated at 280 PS since the Evo IV! And starting with the Evo V every JDM Evo is more powerful than 280 PS. This car is rated at 280 PS (300-320 PS in the reality) and has a torque of 392 Nm. The 275 PS and the 370 Nm is the US spec Evo VIII which is slightly detuned. Please correct it! Thanks!

Its still hard...Extremely hard to believe that Tsukuba Time.

Yes the Tsukuba time checks out.... the video on youtube states that the RS is stock and confirms the 1:04 time.

Again, another suspect lap.

Will someone please verify this lap time?

Well...

The Production EVO VII is only 1.3 seconds slower than the Z-tune time you're talking about. I dont think shaving off 0.7-0.8 secs of the laptime is an impossible task.

I think this is a perfectly legit time. Do not remove it!

Maybe the EVOs 7-9 were just too much car for the money.

erase that tsukuba time!!!!!!!!!!

Its a shame they do not have regulators who confirm stock or tuned cars whenever ANY time is recorded and the manufacturer would have to pay an automatic fee for this to go along with renting the track. Then noone could ARGUE the fact!!

that TsuKuba lap time is total BullShit!!!

who realy belives that the Tsukuba time was driven by a stock production Evo VIIIRS?
Only half a second slower than the $175,000 Nismo Skyline R34 GT-R Z-Tune with 215hp MORE and 120ft.lbs MORE torque on production tires...
