That's funny!
That is NOT true at all, the only difference between Pro race drivers, and non pro race drivers, is that they have sopnsors and have acces to the best equipment and resources, where non race drivers, have non o those, so dont assume that just because there race drivers they will beat every non race driver.
this car could have done a heaps better laptime at the ring. yes?
Sometimes Horst von Saumra even beat factory testdrivers around the Ring..happen at the Koenigsegg CCR were they reached a 2second faster time than the Koenigsegg test driver.
GTR 7:26.7 > 7:36
Apollo 7:11 > 7:24
ZR1 7:24 > 7:38
Z06 7:42 > 7:49
R8 (4.2) 7:54 > 8:04
CCR 7:36 < 7:34
Carrera GT 7:28 > 7:32
the northloop is the only track were many factory laptimes meet many independent laptimes driven by mostly one magazine with one driver behind the wheel... taking into account that sportauto can´t risk to destroy a very expansive exotic car during a time attack run their resluts are pretty impressive
sportauto claims that Lamborghini setup the car for safty reasons with a tendenz to understeer... to protect the driver from snap oversteer which could easy happen with the given power... but that ruins the northloop laptime. sportauto claims with a more neutral setup the car would be lot faster around the Ring. Next to that they realized that the brake balance is not 100% correct setup, there is to much brakeforce at the rear axle, on a wet track it is easy to loose control if you brake to hard into a corner because the rear axle over brake
