so why is it here on the laps?
and all the top gear laps
they are all here
does jezza or "Horst von Saurma" know how to drive?
i think it's better to put a noob sign on them:D

he race the 24h northloop since years...yes Horst can drive... but that does not delet the drawback to jump into a unknown car and go flat out the most dangerous race track in the world with highly expansive press cars...

Horst at work...

how come this is slower than lp 640 on the ring?????

there is nothing to wonder about... the LP640 lap was driven by a Lamborghini test driver with lot of experience with the car, the LP 670 laptime was driven by Horst von Saurma with very limited car experience and only three laps to set a northloop laptime ...at the Hockenheim shorttrack were he can do more laps he was 2seconds quicker with the LP670 than with the LP640...

GT thanks.... I usually use a VBOX and sometimes (just for fun) an App called Dynolicious on the iPhone. The Lambo and Scuderia will be on track so they probably won't allow timing gear but i'll ask..... I may have the option to get hold of the onboard telemetry from the Lambo as I think they record the action.

@Wads

if you have a gps equipped S60 or maybe a Windows Mobile smart phone you can use an application called racechrono it works the same way as a vbox
it tests up to 200 km/h and also the 1/4mile and 1 mile runs.. and not just straitline

I'll be driving the SV on track next Thursday

As it appears that the nasty Hole is plugged, Wads can finally get back to driving supercars :D

so will write up a full report soon after.

Looking forward to that!

GT thanks we tend not to use DRY weight as its not very realistic. We'll leave the weight as it is unless anyone can find a kerb weight?

Is there a referance for that weight? I know the SV is around 100kg lighter than the standard LP640 but can't find an official weight.

This car gets to every speed faster than the ZR1 but the ZR1 1/4 is 10.7 and this is 10.9? Something fishy there... recent PTM ZR1 on Edmunds 11.5 1/4 the supposed 10.7 is a modded ZR1... thier is even a Hennessy ZR1 (Tuned) doing 10.9 1/4

AWD, LC, and sticky tires sound convincing.
