would like a rematch of the m3 dct vs gt-r and the gt2. I'm sure it would narrow
the performance gap around the track.

More M3 (E92) DKG photos
Autobild made a first test with the new M3 equipped with the BMW dual clutch
tranny (DKG). The numbers are little bit confusing because they are identical to
the e92 M3 stick shift, but a M3 stick shift tested together with the M3 DKG at
the same day same conditions was over 1 second slower 0-200km/h (125mph) and
0.2s slower 0-100km/h (62mph) at the same day the M3 stick shift reached only a
1:35.41min at the Contidrom test track. The journalist claim the system works
perfect, smooth shifting for cruising or brutal hard quick shifts for racing..
nice side effect the consuption with DKG was lower. The gearing of the 7speed
tranny and final drive are different to that of the M3 stick shift.
great picture, great car and great tsukuba time. 1:05, thats as fast as a
2712lbs 513bhp $480,000 Ferrari F50, thats quite an achievement!!
