2009 Porsche Panamera Turbo

I think this car has way more power than Porsche is suggesting.

its called a Mistake asshole, dont act like youv never made one b4, not that much difference between .27 n .29, anyhoo, even with that i dont believe porsches claims, even a Gallardo has the same power and worse Drag, and that manages a higher top speed, same with an 03 Viper, so either there lying bout the Cd, or its power is ALOT more than suggested, even with that PDK.

Porsche never ever claimed the cd of the Panamera is 0.27
on their homepage they claim 0.29 for the Panamera S model and 0.30 for all other including the Turbo

cd is only half of the aerodynmaic... the frontal surface area is even more important and compared to other luxury 4door the Panamera frontal surface area is very small

the real important number is the airindex.. which is cd x frontal surface area ...

Considering its top speed is only 190mph, i Highly doubt Porsche's claim of Cd.27 is real.

This car is ugly as hell!

I've seen a few on the road now and every time I see one I reconfirm my own view that the Panamera is one ugly car! Maserati GranTurismo is far better looking if you need a fast 4 seater with a supercar badge. I repeat.... just my opinion.....

This is more proof that AWD cars with Dual Clutch Transmissions beat regular RWD MT cars even when the RWD MT cars have far more power. 997.2 911 Turbo CRUSHED the ZR1 in 1/4 mile, GTR crushed ZO6 everywhere, and now the the Panamera is beating just about every RWD MT Sports Sedan.

Wikipedia is not a "legit" website for lap times.

This 7:56 time was a porsche unofficial release that has NO PROOF to it still. This time is not recognized by any legit websites like wiki nor sportauto who first reported this claimed time by porsche. So why is this time still up in here?

@crap most likely is that after 200km/h the Panamera kick the CTS-V ass even harder... the Panamera is a extrem aerodynamic slick car... completely flat underbody..after 160km/h the aerodynamic force increase in square... the faster they get the Panamera advantage over any other sedan increase..

I saw one of these yesterday, it looks better in real life. 4000lbs, 0-60 3.9, 500bhp. 500 torques. 4wd. I can beleive these figures. No way bmw 335s or Audi, same weight, can get near this performance with 320 bhp and 330 torques.

This is really quite nice looking up close, its not as bad as these pics make it seem, then again no car is. question is, if you had the money would you?

Beat 997 4S PDK in both acceleration duel and time attack. Simply amazing machine! Clearly the fastest 4-door car of them all.

the ammount of BS you claim is amazing... the Cayenne was for several years Porsche´s most sold model and it is a very expansive model flooting lot of cash into Porsches money box..
The Panamera is in production since mid 2009 with a planed yearly production of 20,000cars and they recive much more orders than expect..

It's very unpractical. Just look how close it is to the ground. And besides it's not a sedan. To me, it's ridiculous that Porsche wants to make four-door cars. Neither Cayenne nor Panamera have future. Four-door automobile market is BMW's realm.

I must admit, that is an unexpected 0-60mph an 0-100mph time considering its weight. but with its 4wd system and the feroscious PDK system, whooo.
