It is actually shocking how far the technology has gone since first use of diesel engines in passenger cars. 170 hp from 2.0 liter diesel egnine - it's fantastic. 20-30 years ago 2.0 diesel engine couldn't get more than 50 hp. And 170 hp was the power output from a 5+ liter V8.
