The car in the video is a tuned by Reader Motorsport and has nothing to do with a stock production Focus RS..

I just noticed the quoted torque figure on this page. It says 410nm, but the correct number is actually 440nm (from 2250 to 4500 rpm). Here's the Focus RS brochure from Ford UK, for instance: http://sentinel.dk/Focus_RS.pdf
Look at page 3 and 5. On both pages it clearly says 440nm.

Then you will see how the focus RS 500 [ a focus RS modified by Ford] will beat megane R26R at the Ring!

listen anonymous..the r26r is a production car..is a car modified by renault sport ...this focus rs in the video is not modified by the ford rs team and is not a production car..is just modified by tunners and i know tunner car laps are not allowed..if it was like this i drive a fwd car...i modify my car and set the new nurburdring record.

the car was modified by Reader Motorsport, which raced last years 24h with a Ford GT which set the poleposition laptime, they know how to modify a car for fast northloop laptimes... but honestly king of the hot hatches at the Ring in VW... they always win the 24h hothatch class big time since years... first with GTI now with the Scirocco... at the last VLN race they were able to put a Scirocco ahead the Lexus LFA in a 4hour race... go figure.. the Focus RS that raced the VLN did no see the finish line

It is a record among modified Hot Hatch FWD cars...

If it was an unmodified car then it would be fantastic. And a record.

Why have recent messages been removed? A few weeks ago I posted two messages to this comment thread that are now gone. One of them mentioned the 1/4 mile time in 14.33 secs and I see the time has been applied to the stats of the RS (but where did the comments themselves go??). Btw, picking up my Frozen White RS in May. ;)
