WOW:O i a G37 over this?? are you serious? G37 is a very nice car, but nothing compared to this. and sorry dude, but are you serious too? this over a GT-R? Dont Think So.

lol a g37 over a 911? seriously i can understand choosing the gt-r if you dont care about involvement much but a g37 just isnt even close.

Nissan rules the japanese manufacterers with engineering that surpasses most european companies as well. I think i would take a G37s over this porsche but its a good effort.

997-Sport: I test drove the '09 PDK sport, and the new 'tranny is amazing!

I (still) prefer my '07 997-S manual for overall feel. "She's" been tricked out with Autothority chip and EVO hdrs/intake. My guess is around 380. hp, right near the new direct injection 3.8 'sport' engine's 385 hp.

A real driving experience, unlike any other in balance, response, everything!

Its a double clutch automated manual..... basically the same as the VW DSG or BMW DCT. One clutch is in use with the current gear while the other clutch is ready and waiting for the next gear so when the driver changes gear you get a seemless (and very fast) change. Its very fast technology as long as the software can predict which gear to have pre-selected..... if it guesses wrong it can take longer as it swaps to the requested gear..... eg cruising in 4th gear with foot on the gas the software will assume that the driver will want 5th gear next so will have that ready..... but if the driver actually wants to shift down to 3rd the 2nd clutch has to swap from 5th to 3rd before the gear change happens.

it costs $87,000 or £65,000!!

How much is this car because if its more than $100000, i would rather have a VIPER or GTR as both have bettered the ring time by quite a bit.

OMG,these Porsches are such an excellent cars, engineering, quality etc. They are really, really completed and perfection derived vehicles. Also, they are just incredibly fast if we take their HP into equation,it's just amazing how this Carrera S hangs on with Gallardo or even Gallardo SE,i can't wait the X51!!!
