VW know's that the bugatti veyron is only fast on striaght's and that it is to
heavy it wiegh's 4100LBS for crying out loud.VW is to afraid to let anyone test
it because it wont beat any track record.

ARE YOU SERIOUS?? the veyron handles like a lotus elise around corners at hogh
speeds, are you kidding me? and the reason they havent really tested it on a
track is because its a super rare and super expensive car. if a friend gave you
this car would you take it on a track? and if so, when or if you crash are you
willing to sell your house to fix the damages on it???

From what I know it isn't nearly as nimble as an Elise. For a 4000 lb car, it
does handle well though. Without the advantage of a 1000 hp engine, I'm sure
many 500-700 hp cars would surpass it.

it's not evan that powerfull for a W16 1001hp!!!!.you can get 1004hp out of the
koenigsseg ccxr edition's twinrotexsupercharged4.8LV8.and you can get 1100hp+
out of the SSC ultimate Aero TT's V8.

who cares about how much the ccxr has 1001 is plenty. and the ccxr has a 5.0l
twinsupercharged v8 built by koenigsegg, show us another w16 that has more
power??
Ohhh 1001 hp is plenty. Who really cares about the handling its a touring car,
on a really tight trach I doubt its really agile but get it to speed with
downforce thats a totally different story.
Just to give you guys some good news, Top Gear is going to the the Veyron on its
track!!

reach a high top speed.and the veyron is not designed for cornering fast.

just because it wasnt to designed to corner fast, doesnt mean it cant!!
People say the Veyron can't handle because it's so heavy. But then forget that
cars like the Lamborghini Murcielago and Nissan GT-R weigh nearly the same, and
those don't seem to have a problem with corners.

The Murc isn't the most nimble car from what I know, and though the GT-R is
heavy, it's still 300 lbs lighter, that's pretty siginificant.
The Veryon definately is NOT a straight line only mahcine, it's just that it
doesn't perform as radically in the corners as it does in acceleration.

Well The GTR is really heavy at 3800LBS BUT although the veyron is not that fast
aroyund corner's i think it would corner at the same speed of a GTR.Then again
the lamborghini murcielago look's smooth and is fast it's abit to heavy with a
wieght 3600LB+ I Think these car's in our disscussin would not have as much
cornering abillity.But then let's see what happen's when you put a veyron in a
euroupean smoth mountain road full of sharp corner's up against a porsche 911
997 gt3 rs yeah the veyron is 1000LBS+ hevier than the 911 gt3 rs.the veyron
would not have a smooth ride and you would not get much steering feel.infact the
only place's a veyron will whup the 911 gt3 rs is on an autobahn highway.but
back on european smooth mountain road with sharp corner's and the 911 gt3 rs
will leave the veyron in a clud of it's on smoke.and the 911 gt3 rs driver will
wonder where the veyron is.know i am not saying the veyron's handalling is bad
or anything.But know offence someone made a dumb coment on the veyron handalling
like a mustang I mean what is wrong with that person.the veyron's handalling is
superrior to a mustang's handalling you idiot.ford can not get any of their
car's handalling right exept the ford GT (most of it's body part's are

I don't see it taking the A10 or Apollo, if it does I'll be surprised, and
obviously everything I've heard about the car would be wrong. Might take the
Enzo with all that power though.
