I was wrong about that. I did miss that bit. The 6-speed S tronic DSG gearbox is
approximately 20 kilograms heavier than the 6-speed manual gearbox therefore I
should have put 1,415 kilograms for the TTS Coupe and 1,475 kilograms for the
TTS Roadster.
SUCKS they used the 2.0L instead of the 3.2L. maybe in the TT-RS they use the
4.2L TT...that would be awesome..lol ooo maybe a widebody TT with the 5.2
RS6...but with less bhp...(drools)
Mitsubishi and Subaru missed the signs of the time....they did not bring their
lancer and impreza up to date....it is very sad...now with the tts middle aged
premium car drivers will go faster than japan style ralleycar drivers.....very
sad
depends on the source bra, some say as low as 305 and some say as high as 385,
the most sources ive seen said it would have 365 from either a 2.0l,3.2l,3.6l,
but i guess it all depends on the source..
The TT-RS (or TT-R which I think it will be called) will have the new inline 5,
2.5 l, twin turbo engine with 350 or 390 bhp (two versions - your choice). It
will move the TT to another level.
TT-RS sounds much better than the TT-R i personally dont think it will be called
that. (just imagine if they put the 5.2L TwinTurbo S8 engine it that baby with a
widebody kit:) just a thought though but that 390bhp sound great and a inline -5
whooo..lol
to think this thing is as fast around the Nordschlief as a Maserati Coupe with
that 390hp. cat wait till the TT-RS comes out.FTW and that 5.2L V10 would be
killer in a small car like this.
The Maserati isn't the greatest track car. Good GT's though. The TT is nice, I
really like this one. Audi has a pretty strong line up right now. I like them
more than BMW and Mercerdes.
