hmm my exchange program claims that 3792lbs (the officle claim) are 1720kg...
now I have wrote 1720kg here in the datasheet and it transfers it into
3784lbs... not a big different but one calculation program is wrong :)

Nissan GT-R is a legend. Based on the best import tuner Nissan Skyline GT-r,
this supercar is probably the best on track and road. Not bad on speed either.
Lamborghini fans, be afraid.

Also, this car is much cheaper than regular supercars and is like a hypercar.
Ex. Koenigsegg, Lambo, Pagani, and Saleen
I'v deleted the Nuburgring times for now, i want some hard proof, not some wild
claims.
One of the Nissan engineers even said it probably wouldn't get under 7:44.
the video CLEARLY shows a INCOMPLETE lap by 6seconds...
at video time 1:01min the GT-R pass the pont were later the clock stops... at
1:07min the GT-R pass the point were the laptime clock starts... 6seconds cut
off...7:38.5min +6seconds = 7:44.5min...means slower as the Turbo and the
Z06..end off message
Where's the reference for 7:35? We need a direct link to some major car test not
the internet adress of Italian car blog "Autoblog.it". "Autoblog.it" is not a
reference. I can't see anything about GTR-R's Nordschleife lap time in
Autoblog.it front page. And I don't quite believe that this car is able to
achieve 7:35. If, however, it is then people who build Porsches and Ferraris are
idiots with no idea of how to build a sports car.
try this link 7:38 and the race conditions was not really good so it maybe can
do
faster.http://www.auto-motor-und-sport.de/news/auto_-_produkte/hxcms_article_507

there are many ways to clock the Ring..Autobild Sporstcars use complete laps
20823m as they tested the 997 GT2 in 7:32.18min on a slightly damp track..
GM does their factory tests on completel laps.. just search Opel (GM) Astra ans
Corsa OPC Nürburgring ...there you see the way GM clocks the Ring..they use the
tourist driver on off ramp as start finish..and in the videos you see that they
do a complete lap not a cutted lap.. If Walter reach 7:32.18min in not perfect
conditions you can be sure that 7:31min under perfect conditions are a full lap
too.. means Porsche factory claims are full laps not that way...in my eyes a
cheap way of Nissan to get a amasing sounding time...BTW does anyone know if the
4 or 6point race seatbells are stock in the GT-R ;) I have only seen 3point
seatbells in press photos.. which opens the question how close was this car to a
production model ;)
SO guys , since the 7:38 time keeps being added. What should i do.
It's clear it's a pre production model and unknown if it's the same as the
actual production car.
So should i leave the time standing, or should i delete it?
Also when i played the video in sync with the Z06 video from sport auto you
could also clearly see that the GT-R outran the Z06 on the straights. Last i
checked 480hp and 1750kg couldn't do that.
let it there till independent production vehicle tests are avaible

A lot of other cars are timed the way the GT-R is timed here.
What evidence is there that Porsche and GM times a "complete" lap? Do they have
an in-car video to prove that? No.
If Nissan released this video to the public then it must mean that it is an
industry-accepted timing method, otherwise they would get hounded on by Porsche
and what not.

Georg,
everyone knows a complete nordschleife lap is 20.8km....but does Porsche have
hard evidence to prove that they timed it at 20.8km? No.

Also, look at the Radical SR8 video on youtube. If you use the timer on the
video and start and stop timing at the exact same places where the GT-R is
timed, you see that the Radical SR8's time is 6:55 WITHOUT the final pit
straight.
