How can it be? SLR Cabrio beats SLR Coupe 722 in acceleration?

Marco 20/11/07, 23:13:59
The usual incongruences: some tests say that SLR normal is faster than 722, some others that it's faster. In the same way you can have a Corvette Z 06 which set 11,9 in 0-200 but another test from the same magazine says over 13. For Quattroruote, an italian magazine, the acceleration is still slower. But in this case i think that same figures are improbable, 0-200 in 10,5 is faster than best time for SRL standard (10,7 in AMS 2004 Nardò test edition and 30,6 in 0-300). Consider that in 2006 edition the same normal SLR set 36,9 in 0-300.

I doubt these are tested figures.

Still this is a hell of a good GT/Supercar roadster by mercedes benz & mclaren. Wish it was more mclaren than mercedes though. More performance, at a little bit less comfort.
