I get your point, but this car looks fast, looks like competition for the Ford Focus, or Honda Civic, but its very slow which will dissapoint 90% of us, as were guys and the meaning of FastestLaps to us is Speedola, so you have to learn to accept a little critisim,we all do.

Was the Nordschleife time achieved by this car with the ESP on or off?

Well my corsa vxr is running 245bhp with 270 ft lb, far quicker than the astra, focus, gold etc etc but also out handles the lot aswell. Has the perfect blend of grunt and cornering ability.

Im more than sure it would be seeing a sub 8.30 lap

made a mistake with the Racedland time, 1:00.60 is Corsa GSi's time.

We don't care who the driver is as long as the lap time is genuine. "Regular drivers from Auto Magazines" are generally far from average drivers, many have a racing background and even the worst are probably still far better than the average guy in the street.

I care about it. The difference is huge. Sport auto magazazine tested the corsa opc with a 8.54min on nordschleife this is a huge difference.

Laptimes show the potential of the car not the limit of the driver...

But driven by prodriver manuel reuter it is worth as much as the porsche laptimes on the nordschleife driven by walter rƶhrl. I think you cannot compare those drivers with regular drivers from automagazines.
