No, 49.9 is for thebase Gallardo, 44.2 is for the SuperLeggera tested by SportAuto!

It's heavier. And it's not really a "pure" track car, at least not from tests I've read.

Gallardo SL's V10 indeed is a little more powerful than the 7.0 liter V8 in the Vette.

But its amazing how the Nissan GTR can blow the Lambo and the Vette away with the same power as the Lambo and the same AWD??? Better engineering i guess???

That 0-300kmh time of 49.9 is for the 500bhp Gallardo, NOT the Superleggera, the correct time is 44.2 tested by SportAuto

Well the vette still has alot more torque than this so when it comes out of a corner the torque just pulls like a raped ape!!!! Your just paying for the name and the looks with the lambo, period.

i have a REALLY hard time believing that the Superleggera beat the 911 997 GT2 at Autozeitung by 5 Seconds. was it wet? was the GT2 somhow broken in any way?

why havent those stats hanged yet?

i wouldnt exactly say its over priced...well maybe a lil, i mean the LP560-4 is $40,000 cheaper..lol. but the Viper is an American car and the Gallardo is an Italian car and we all know italian cars have bad torque,eh bad torque to bhp ratio..you know how far the torque is from the bhp, except the Zondas which use Benz engines, and SOME ferraris and Maseratis such as the 550 and 456 and the Granturismo, arent too bad in the Torque department..

I find it amazing how a VIPER can get over 500lbs torque out of a v10 and lamborghini gets 370lbs. That why there power band sucks. Way overpriced for that cheap power.
