where did 6.9 come from? mine was calculated at 6.18 last time I had a go and mines a standard UKDM. Thats well below the 6.9 quoted here.

and my quarter mile times were 14.5, with a friend of mine doing 14.1

BM managed a 14.2 second 1/4 mile out of the JDM ITR. SCC magazine managed a 0-60mph in 6.1 seconds (aprox 6.4 second 0-100km/h), and 1/4 mile of 14.5 seconds @ 96mph. The EUspec ITR is actually closer to the JDM version than the USDM, especially in weight. It weighs around 1087kg, as opposed to the 1145kg for the USDM version, and also has the J-spec final drive ratio of 4.7:1 as opposed to 4.4:1. AUDM (EUspec) times vary between 6.7 - 7.09 for 0-100km/h and 14.8 - 15.1 for 0-400m. I used to own a 2001 DC2 ITR before my S2K...great cars! :)

I think it is the European spec.
EU spec: 190 PS
US spec: 195 PS
JDM spec: 200 PS
Will somebody be so kind as to make an article about the JDM Honda Integra Type-R (1995-2001)?
It has a staight 4, 1797 ccm, 200 PS engine. Mass is between 1060-1080 kgs. You can find it on wikipedia (Japanese Honda Integra Type-R article). It has a different frontier (two long lights NOT four round).

EVOs 5.5 would have been to 60mph not 62mph

6.9 is a bit high for the 0-100 run. I've seen an Evo mag test where they managed a 5.5 so I think around 6 seconds should be easily possible. I love my DC2 ^_^

100km/h are not 60mph!!!!!!!
The novice testing the Integra with 6.9s was the same guy driving it in 8:43min around the Ring.. go figure.
BTW sportauto made a endurance test with the Integra Type R.. at testbegin the car reached 6.9s after 100,000km only 7.5s

No way would a DC2 integra take 6.9 secs to get to 100kmh/60mph, unless being driven by a complete novice
