Sorry but this car already is added. Search for 996 GT3 (it's the same as 911 GT3). All porsches are called 911s but they model codes are different. In FastestLaps.com we use model codes as model names for 911s. We use 933 (911s from 90s), 996 and 997 (the new ones).

You are wrong actually, the 996 is the 2003 model, this is the 99 model with slightly less horsepower and worse performance.

FastestLaps 08/02/07, 11:50:59
But what about that carrera?

Heyhuub 08/02/07, 12:02:32
Same story. :) It's the 97 carrera with only 300hp and a 3.4 litre engine. I'm not sure what the designasion for those is. 995 or something? :P

Got the info here for the 911 i'm referring to. http://www.autoweek.nl/carbaseresults.php?merk=Porsche&merkID=6< /a> &serietotaalID=550&serienaamID=1825&serienaam=911+Coup%E9&srchpage=1&cache=no This is for the 996: http://www.autoweek.nl/carbaseresults.php?merk=Porsche&merkID=62 &serietotaalID=550&serienaamID=1827 &serienaam=911+Coup%E9&srchpage=1&cache=no

The 1999 996 GT3 was 360hp that is correct, the 2003 996 GT3 was 381hp, the actual 997 GT3 is 415hp

HuupHey 07/03/08, 05:20:59
Nope, HeyHuup. model year 1999 is also 996. GT3 year 1999 are called 996 GT3 MK1 and model year 2003 are called 996 GT3 MK2. MK2 is a faster car and has higher performance than MK1; but built in mass production. MK1 has got more rawness and is the last handmade of 911 production line; built with higher quality inside. If I'm going to choose between MK1 and MK2 to keep, I'll go for MK1. If I want a better performance car, I'll go for 997 GT3 or the RS.
