I delet the Topgear 1:28.9min laptime... the laptime was driven by the Mitsubsihi Evo VIII FQ300 not the standart ... just watch the video till the Mitsubishi Stip laptime beginn..they clearly claim the red one is a beefed up FQ version with more power as the WRX STI which means it was the Evo VIII FQ300..

again this car is the German spec version and the weight is EU car weight including driver, fuel, package..the reason why I ask all the time in the forum to add a the future under what rule this weight is claimed to get rid of such confusen

The GSR and RS Evo VIII came out at "Jan 2003" The MR edition came "Feb 2004" (once again im talking about j-spec's) ^^

That was the German Version..the engine had lower power because it was not Autobahn safe...long distance high speed runs dramaticaly reduce engine life time
