sportauto test only supertest cars at the Nordschleife..according to their
online libary they never made a supertest with the Focus RS.. they only drove
the RS at the Hockenheim shorttrack

Further research seems to suggest that the 9:05 time was a claim made by Ford
when the RS was released so I'll add it again without a ref. Remember not all
lap times here have a reference.
yes but the reference claimed sportauto..they never made a Focus RS test..if it
would have been in 2005 like the source claim it would be published in every
sportauto car magazine.. there they always have the laptime list of the past 3
years for both Hockenheim shorttrack and Nordschleife

The Focus RS did a 8:34 according to Jost Capito. The 9:05 was the ST170.

The New RS 2009 has been trialed and unconfirmed reports are saying 8:04 which
will set it as the fastest Front wheel set up ever to go round the track - again
unconfirmed to date...... but interesting
