| those times are way off anything I've ever seen. My near stock WRX is faster
than that LOL. heres the fastest magazine test. 0-60 4.5 sec. 1/4 mile 13.0 @
103.5. http://www.motortrend.com/roadtests/sedan/112_0512_rally_cars/sp

These are 0-62 mph times. (100km/h = 62 mph). A lot of cars usually have to
switch gears at `60 mph and it takes additional second or 1,5 seconds to reach
62.

| i agree that could be correct in some cases, but on that link it says 0-70mph is
5.7 so i mean its 0-62 mph is lower than 5.7 but slightly higher than 0-60 4.5
sec. i dono u make the call. its just than 5.7sec makes me laugh everytime i see
it lol

| These times are again for the Euro version of the car. Not the American version.

What's the difference between american and european EVO and STi?
|
|
| GTR |

| for the EVO it should be the same. But for the STI u guys may get the 2.0 liter
version which has slightly less power than the US 2.5 liter version. Regardless
the 2.0 STI's numbers as almost as fast.

| The Euro version as stated here does 0-200 in 21.9 secs as tested by sport
auto.
This would amount to a 1/4 mile time in the high 13 seconds.
For it to do the 1/4 mile in 13 seconds it would need a 0-200 time of about 17
seconds.

Subaru Germany claims 5.4s 0-100km/h and the Euro WRX STI have the 2.5l turbo
engine in the latest model..

the main different in acceleration numbers between US and Euro is the way to
clock them..in USa on high traction drag strip resulting in extrem good times..
in Europe on real roads with lower traction resulting in much more realistic
times..

| Why was the picture changed? This picture is from the STI Type RA-R, not the
regular one.

WRX STi photo was overwritten. Because RA-R image file name was exactly the
same. I will solve this little problem very soon.

replaced the old Hockenheim time with a "new" faster laptime

is it possible that the Bedford West laptime was driven by a more powerfull
version? The laptime is pretty close to the 300lbs lighter and more powerfull
Evo IX FQ 340 and much faster as the all new Evo X MR.
The link only claims Evo magazine.. anyone knows the link to the article
reporting the laptime and car specs?

| STI 0-62 are usually 5.0s, with PPP its usually 4.6 - 4.8, but 5.7 is really
ridicilous... you should upload the PPP version as well
