This definately is the fastest car in FastestLaps.com. Probably the fastest road
legal car ever made. Correct me If I am wrong :)

We (GulfSport Racing) ran our brand new SR8, straight out of the box, in a
support race with the A1 GP in Dubai. Without any setup or testing (we were busy
running the other cars), our SR8 lapped easily in 1:59's. The FIA GTs had
visited about 4 weeks earlier and the fastest lap was set by a $1m works
Maserati MC12 in 1:57s. The SR8 cost about $120k. But you need a strong neck!

Test the Ariel Atom Supercharged: 0-60= 2.8 secs 0-100=6.8 secs
I just found out an interesting fact. Radical's V8 engine which is used in this
particular car is actually built from two Suzuki GSX-R 1300 Hayabusa V4 engines
added together. There is also Radical SR9 under construction and it's planned to
use basically the same engine but 3,0 liter instead of 2,6.
Top speed for this car is higher than 270 km/h. It depends on gearing. Maybe
it's 270 km/h with standart gear ratios but it can do much more. 310 - 320 km/h
- that's my guess.

"Yeah, an innovative and low cost solution to get a powerfull engine."
Innovative?! Porsche has been doing it for years....their flat six started at
just under 2 litres...it's now a 3.6, IIRC....give or take a turbo here & there,
they haven't done much to increase the base engine power other than add .3 of a
litre here and there.....

Fastest car is Caparo t1, curb weight 475 kg, 575 brake horsepower.
the idea is whenever I take a comparison test here and never find videos, I
browse around and if there is something worth it, I'll put it here so that you
can use them. (sometimes I made some errors...and it was the case with one
"Gallardo vds Maranello" that got uploaded before I duble-checked it...and
didn't find a way to delete my own mistake - maybe somehow you could let us tell
you about it so that it doesn't make redundances)

The Hayabusa's engine isn't a V4. Its four cylinders are lined up, just like in
a ordinary Mini...
o yeah this is definetly the fastest car on a track right now but it will get
its ass handed to it in a straight line or possibly a course like circuit de la
sarthe...maybe
i dont think it is the fastest car on a track im mean it is right know on th
nurburgring but people havent tested the ascari kz a10,caparo t1,ultima gtr 720
just thought id list a couple of track cars, plus this thing aint the fastest
thing in a straight line it would get its ass handed to it by a couple
other..lol
Chiesi thanks to EU law if it gets street legal in one nation (like UK) it gets
street legal in all Europen nations, the Ring record run was done with a SR8
with frensh or spanish licens plate..
This thing is the fastest because of one point..it is a realy downforce
producing car... that allows turn speeds much higher than any other street legal
car, low weight = extrem late braking thanks to downforce there is no need to
brake as long as with other cars = much much higher turn speed = no need of
700hp to blow any other car from the track..
I know it's fast because of low weight and huge Down force... I'm not
retarded... This is very basic eheh! I mean... it doesn't look like a car...
it's not confortable... I saw the ring run, it shakes and jumps all the time!!
The pilot keep ajusting the seat belt all the time! But anyway... it's a great
Track-Car!
