This link has a stock R34 doing 13 flat in the 1/4 mile, although I've seen 12.9 as well.

I have tons of BM dvd's from Japan. And so far they test pretty fair.
So you mean that the lap timer is stopped before the car gets to the finish line? I find this hard to believe having watched many Best Motoring video footage featuring time attacks on various tracks.
As for your claim that no JDM gets under 8 minutes at the Ring. How about the Honda NSX-R, driven by Motoharu Kurosawa (from Best MOTORing 08/2002), which got 7 minutes 56 seconds?
