I removed the time. It looked more like Laguna Seca or F1 Nurburgring time but
anyway - there was no reference link and it was posted as Nordschleife. So it's
gone now. It's all about credibility here. This is supposed to be the ultimate
automotive judge , an argument braker, credible reference site for
auto-enthusiasts worldwide.

why is this bad boys ring time only 7:55?? dont get me wrong thats one fast ass
time but i see 2 cars inparticular that have a much better time. the ZO6 and the
Gallardo. is the F430 even worth the money?? is the ZO6 even worth the
money????????

The 430, and every other Ferrari for that matter, wasn't tested by Ferrari at
the ring. Factory times are usually better than independent tests. I would
estimate a 7:40 on Bridgestones and 7:34 on PZero Corsas.

There's no way this won't beat the Z06 if it's on PZero's. And the Z06 that set
the Ring time was an 05, the worst handling set up of all C6 Z06's.

In a straight line yes, but the 430 has much better cornering balance and
noticible downforce. And with PZero tires, the Ferrari has infinitely more grip.
Both cars are about even on a track.
You can see the difference it made in Road and Track's World Superpowers Test
from ~2005
F430 F1 1'36"9 (Pirelli Rosso) on Autozeitung track, tested together with
Gallardo 500ps 1'35"6 (stickier Pirelli Corsa) and Porsche 996 Turbo 1'38"5
(Michelin Pilot Sport). AZ issue 8/2005.
