It should be Germany, the parent company is VAG.
Heyhuub why don't you read about these horsepower? These is no such thing as
"normal horsepower". Just horsepower by the American/British standard and by the
German standard (PS). Use 736 kW (987 HP, 1001 PS), that's the reality.
BTW the Veyron has everywere in the world 1001PS hp bhp or any other name you
can find for it...
No Veyron recive a engine with less than 1040hp at the crack. That was a quote
of the Bugatti chief engineer to the childish US blabla about 1001PS are only
980something hp..
BTW Japan use the same PS as Europe... means 3/4 of all cars in the world
produced runs under the rule of Europen PS...

The Nordschleife time posed for the Veyron is not correct. I've seen this listed
in a few places that Wheels magazine clocked 7:40 with the Veyron at N'ring.
I have the article/magazine, and all they did was speculate what the Veyron's
time at N'ring would be. They are guessing it would be around 7:40. Though, they
have never ever had the Veyron at N'ring. Actually, I'm not even sure if they
have driven the Veyron at the time that they made this guess.
Internet is a large rumor mill and you never now whats true and what isn't
unless somebody tells you. I will do a little research and delete this time if
it really isn't true. Thank you for this information.
I removed the lap time. Because it can't be prooven. And thank you "Corvette"
for your assistence. Lap times like these should be wiped out of FL.com database
because this is no Wikipedia. Yes, everyone, even non-registered users can add
lap times but this is strictly moderated page, considered to be a solid
reference site for auto enthusiasts.
Someone added 7:40 for Veyron again. Please, someone, read the comments. We
already discussed this issue. 7:40 is not a real lap time. It's speculation.
Prognosis done by Wheels Magazine specialists.
