This comparison may look a bit strange but it is estimated that in future, Indian and Chinese cars will be today's Mercedes and BMW's. So, it is important to look into which of these emerging economies make the best cars.
The Chinese, for starters, never really made their own cars. They were just copies of foreign brand. Even the engines, transmissions and logos are not spares nevertheless about looks. Moreover, the Chinese cars are really "coffin on wheels". Their safety records are one of the worst.
Now, lets move to Indian Cars. The Indian cars may not be a show off like Chinese cars but they are made by the Indians themselves and not pirated from others. As for safety, lets take the TATA Nano - It was rewarded with 4 stars out of 5 While a Chinese car which costs nearly 4 times the price of Nano got 1/2 star out of 5. Reliability surveys show that Indians vehicles are tough and will last for decades while Chinese vehicles cannot last for more than a year.
So, Which is best ? Reliable, safe, unique and cheap Indian cars or Unreliable, unsafe, pirated and costly Chinese cars at the price of which you could buy much better Japanese and European cars. You decide.

then who created the engine VVT-I ?”
you ask...
it was FIAT they developt (hydraulic) it in the 1960´s and own the patent on it
(US patent number 3,641,988)
the Alfa Romeo Spider 1750cc from 1980 was the first production car with
mechanical VVT system... that was 3 years befor Honda started working on their
VTEC..
the newest step is valve lift controll is Multiair..and again it comes from
FIAT
Though, In 2007, Brilliance's BS6 sedan performed poorly in a German ADAC crash
test, earning 1 out of 5 possible stars. How ever, Brilliance later redesigned
the car and it saw better performance in a different, Spanish crash test. The
time between these two test is only few months, so we have reason to beleive
that they Chinese will make brilliant cars in comming few years.
they did poorly in the first test redesigned it with the help of ADAC engineers,
tested it again and recived 0 stars... overall it perfromed better BUT till they
finished the makeover the EuroNCAP crash norms were updated to a more strict
level and the BS6 failed even more
INDIAN cars are best as compared to chinese. Indian have good brand name like
tata, mahindra, maruti and now tata has also purchased landrover and jaguar :-)
