After seeing Best Motoring's latest DVD, you shouldn't doubt about Porsche Panamera Turbo as the fastest 4-door car. Because it just is the fastest.
This latest episode of BM is one of the best I've seen, mostly because it features two new and very important cars - Porsche Panamera and Mercedes E63 AMG. Both have received praise for performance abilities they possess and since they both fall into same power/weight category, logically, you ask yourself "which one is faster?"
My bet was on Panamera Turbo and it did not disappoint. I was actually surprised when it managed to outperform 997 4S in both - acceleration and track test. That's 1 for the luxury 4-door GT and nil for the sportscar!

an m5 here would add to the flavor,my guess is that the new e63 is still slower
than current m5,any objective thoughts about that?where can i watch the video of

I would never spend that money on any of those cars. I would spend it on a half
priced, equally good Cadillac CTS-V and spend my leftover cash on mods for it.
For the same price as any of the others the CTS-V will kick their a$$es.
Kevin, you do know the V would loose to the PanAmera Turbo right? sure the
Porsche isnt the best looking car (Rear End) and it may be a lil on the
expensive side 143K, but its still a Porsche, and Porsche doesnt make anything
thats not Spectacular, and dobt compaer ur Tuned V to these, if so, lets just
bring in a CLS Rocket or an Asma, or anything else tuned. we all know the V is a
a good (Quite Good) price, 59K, but gimme that QuattroPorte S over any Sedan!!!
@ramzi every track test has shown that the new E63 AMG is faster around race
tracks than the e60 M5..so most likely it would have lost this compare to the
E63 AMG clearly

ugly barge - and this comes from an absolute Porsche nut!

why did they add the already out of production Audi S8???? Why not adding the
RS6 sedan if they test the E63 AMG?
I have no idea. Also, for some reason they didn't take Maserati to the track
despite quite respectable time attack result.
