0 - 100 mph - 0 + several new tracks

23.08.2008
Fastestlaps.com car pages now have additional parameter in technical specification - 0-100-0 mph. 0-100-0 figure represents not only acceleration but also how productive brakes are. You can see "Top 10" 0-100-0 mph performers here.

Also we have four new tracks, all of them from Great Britain - Silverstone, Autocar Dry Handling Track, Autocar Wet Handling Track and Millbrook Handling Circuit. The last one currently holds just one lap time, but there are many more to come since Millbrook proving grounds are used by Fifth Gear for their comparison tests.

I've added a bunch of new 0-100-0 times from the recent Autocar feature and there are a few more from here: http://www.gizmag.com/go/5805/

Nice! It would also be nice to have some other features like 18m slalom,36m slalom, lateral g etc. Auto Motor und Sport and Sport Auto do some of these tests, and einszweidrei.de is a good source site for those. Also if track lenght is to be a feature as well it shouldn't be too hard to add average speed as well.

0-100mph-0mph is the wrong choose... better is 0-200-0km/h... all acceleration numbers on this side are in km/h and sportauto test always 0-200-0km/h (125mph) which makes bigger differents which makes perfromance different more clearly 125mph - 0mph is much more stress for a brake system

Add 0-200kph-0 as well.... the more data we have the better!

FastestLaps 2 years ago
Of course I can add 0-200-0. That's no problem. The problem is to find and enter all the data. We have more than 1000 cars now.

Anonymous 2 years ago
is this for jut 0-somthing-0 or could ya add 0-150 and 0-200..mph?

Georg 2 years ago
I have enough car magazines at hand and I can add lot of 0-200-0km/h times... that is part of every sportauto supertest..

Anon no the 0-100mph-0 and 0-200kph-0 are quite common tests done by several motoring magazines.
