Porsche 997 Turbo gets face-lift and 20 more horsepower |

 The overall shape of Porsche 911 has never really changed since the beginning of 911 generation in early 60s. But in the same time Porsche 911 is under constant development or evolution all the time.
According to many spy-shots and various other unofficial sources, Porsche will introduce a minor face-lift or "refreshment" for 997 Turbo - new taillights with LEDs and new rear bumper with slightly altered air outlets and exhaust pipes. Fortunately changes will affect not only the looks but also the engine. Porsche is about to introduce a new direct-injection engine for 997 Turbo with 500 horsepower (the old one's got 480). This power increase will narrow the gap between the four-wheel driven Turbo and considerably lighter 530 hp rear-wheel driven GT2 - top-of-the-range 200 mph Porsche 911 that premiered in Frankfurt last week. |

| A turbo with more power.
With the 996 the normal Turbo had 420hp, the turbo S 450hp. |
